Now those dark evenings are upon us and winter approaches fast, it is that time of year when we all crowd into the club house for some 'cosy' shooting.
This winter, we will be having our own winter league in addition to our entries for the Cheshire winter league. This will give all the chance to represent the club as well as monitor your own progress through the winter. The two leagues will work as follows:-
Each month, commencing 1st November, scores for Bray 1 shoots will be submitted to the Cheshire League. This year, we have entered 9 teams, 4 recurve, 3 longbow, 1 bare bow, and 1 compound. From the 1st November, sheets will be placed on the notice board so each member can record their highest scores as they progress through each month. The top 12 recurve scores, top 6 longbow scores, top 2 bare bow scores, and top 3 compound scores will be submitted to represent the club for each month.
The club league will involve shooting both Bray 1 rounds (taken from the above) and Portsmouth rounds. There will be separate sheets to record your Portsmouth scores. In April, each member's highest 3 scores for each round shot in separate months will count towards the league.
